National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is a time to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities and to recognize the efforts of those who work to actively remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion, and I’m thrilled with the level of engagement and enthusiasm I witnessed across the GC for NAAW this year.
Happy International Day for Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) everyone! There is a chill in the air, but nothing can dampen my enthusiasm in celebrating this day and everything we are accomplishing together!
Summer has finally arrived, and with it comes heat, sunshine, and a flurry of OPSA-related events.
What a week it was! The Government of Canada’s work to become the most accessible and inclusive workplace in the world was recognized and celebrated in a series of events with which I was thrilled to be involved.
