"Leaving No One Behind" While Celebrating National AccessAbility Week 2021

National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is a time to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities and to recognize the efforts of those who work to actively remove barriers to accessibility and inclusion, and I’m thrilled with the level of engagement and enthusiasm I witnessed across the GC for NAAW this year.

So much to Celebrate!

Happy International Day for Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) everyone! There is a chill in the air, but nothing can dampen my enthusiasm in celebrating this day and everything we are accomplishing together!

The Accessibility Strategy – Taking it Global

I recently had the pleasure of being part of the Canadian delegation, led by the Honourable Carla Qualtrough, at the United Nations Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CoSP) in New York City.
